The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), First Bridge Foundation, and the Homa Bay County Government have partnered to strengthen the dairy sector in the region. This collaboration aims to improve milk production, support smallholder farmers, and enhance food security.

Breed Improvement: Supporting the introduction of high-yield dairy breeds and veterinary services.
Infrastructure: Facilitating access to cooling facilities, feed production, and water systems.
Market Access: Strengthening dairy cooperatives and linking farmers to sustainable markets.
Impact
This project is helping dairy farmers in Homa Bay increase milk yields, boost household incomes, and create local employment opportunities, while ensuring that families have access to safe and nutritious milk.
